Moonfleet used to be our family boat, but we’re turning it into something way more meaningful. Over the past year, we’ve been putting a lot of time into refitting it and getting everything ready, and now it’s finally getting close to being complete.

Most of the work on the boat happens through the winter — late fall to early spring — when we’re fully focused on getting it ready. Then in the summer, we shift gears and work hard to make money so we can keep funding the project and continue building this long-term.

We’re working with organizations like Haiti Arise and others to deliver exactly what they need to keep things running — not just random donations. That means coordinating ahead of time and bringing the right supplies, whether it’s clothing, canned food, tools, equipment, or even things like engines when needed.

We’re also helping support orphanages and charities throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean, and as we grow, we’re planning to expand into more areas.

One of the biggest goals is being able to step in after hurricanes or natural disasters. When places get hit, we want to be able to bring supplies, tools, and help right where it’s needed, as soon as possible.

This is something we’re tying into our business as well. By working with us, people are helping support these trips. As we grow, we’ll also be working with other companies to raise money and push the impact even further.

After every trip, we’ll be sharing photos and videos on our website and social media so people can actually see where things are going and what’s being done.

We’re aiming for our first trip to set sail around November or December once the refit is complete. This is just the start, but it’s something we’re serious about building long-term.
